The exceptional material and manufacturing quality of RHEINZINK products comes from long-standing experience, along with continual readiness to innovate. The patented wide-strip casting and rolling mill and continuous monitoring of individual production phases, all of the mechanical-technological properties, as well as the dimensional tolerances of the material, ensure that the high standard of quality is maintained. This ultimate care was attested to by TUV-Rheinland/Berlin-Brandenburg, the local inspection and monitoring body, by awarding RHEINZINK with the QUALITY ZINC label.
The RHEINZINK alloy is processed on a wide-strip casting and rolling mill in a continuous cycle - smelting, casting, rolling, winding - into coils of various material thicknesses. The process was developed as the brainchild of RHEINZINK engineers and is unique in the world. Standard sized sheets up to 6 m in length can be produced on state-of-the-art stretching, bending and straightening equipment. For applications, which require surface protection during construction, RHEINZINK will supply sheets and strips covered with a strippable film, upon request. |
